I can't believe Richard Whitely had died

I was really shocked when i read that Richard Whitely has died. Countdown will never be the same again. He has always been on the telly, Christa Ackroyd is a poor second best if you ask me, and what will the lovely Carol Vorderman do?
I biked to work today - Despite the fact that it looked like it might piss it down anytime. And it only took me 11 mins, I can't believe that I have been going in the car all this time, it is much quicker to bike. Although I did free wheel through a wet cow pat by accident which was a bit gross when it splattered everywhere as it had been raining. Just in case you where wondering I was biking across Hob Moore when I encountered the cow pat, it wasn't in the middle of York or anything.
