Long time no ramble
Well, haven't said hello for a while as firstly the computer broke, and then it had to be taken apart as we have been decorating. We now have a proper study which looks great, just finished it now. Has taken a bit longer than intended, as we are both on holiday we thought we would be out cruising the Yorkshire dales, but no, although there is always tomorrow.....
Quite a lot been going on since last wrote, finally went to the doctors with my back, turns out I have torn the muscle (ouch) so he has given me some very strong pain killers which I took yesterday and which totally spaced me out - don't think I will be touching them and alcohol in the same 24 hours.
Went to a wedding of some friends of Mr. Fesks, and nearly got locked in the registry office for the weekend, as we were busting for the loo after the ceremony and when we came out all the doors had been locked, this of course had nothing to do with the fact that we had misread the invite and arrived at 1 instead of 3, so then had to spend the next 2 hours in the pub.
Can't really think of anything else that has happened, short term memory must be going now that I am about to turn the corner into the next decade.... Oh well, as someone pointed out to me, your only as old as the man you feel, so that has knocked 4 years off!!
Went into town with Miss C on Monday, where we bought the finishing touches to out party outfits before gorging ourselves at the Royal Oak on steak and ale pie, before returning to my house to practice putting on our 80's make up ad in my case having a full dress rehearsal.
Plans for the weekend are probably going to involve a lot of drink, I think turning 30 deserves at least 4 nights of celebration. Hopefully going out with Mr fesk tonight to celebrate still being in my 20's, then tomorrow we are over at friends for their housewarming. Saturday friends from uni are arriving for party, so think there will be drinking at home with a possible pre party rendevous at Toffs. Sun night is party night, venue and disco all sorted and double checked, and cheap tickets for Toffs obtained, with hopefully a brief stop off at Reflex to do justice to all our outfits. Am starting to get excited now, everyone has outfits sorted and seems to be really looking forward to it, in fact apparently according to miss C invites are in hot demand!!!!
Anyway, going now - to hoover up mess caused by decorating.
Thought for the day: Wish I had bothered to decorate this room sooner, it looks fantastic.
