In memory of Tess

Tess is a little whippet cross who belonged to my friends H & J, she was 12 years old.
unfortunately at about 5.30 this morning she passed away.
Had to meet H down at the vets as unfortunately J was away in Newcastle, I know that they will miss her a lot, as will Stevie, their other dog.
Although one good thing has come out of it, in that H and I haven't really spoken in quite some time, for various reasons, but this proved that no matter what we will always be there for each other when needed, and that hopefully we can try and put the past few months behind us.
Also on a lighter note, have just had another devastating revelation - I am too old to audition for HollyOaks - on the pull!!! I can't believe it, it is only open to 16 - 24 year olds. Think that I may have finally reached point in my life where I will have to stop watching it (Mr. fesk will be pleased) as not only am I gutted that I am too old to be in it, but there really isn't much appeal in watching kids on the telly (am not bitter at all).
Thought for the day: Think things always happen for a reason, even when they are not very nice.
