My wheel dropped off

Forgot to mention, driving home form work (luckily round the corner from home, ad not on a busy main road) my spare tyre dropped off the bottom of my car!! (I have a Peugeot, and the spare is on a wire rack under the car). You can imagine my surprise when i heard a clunk then the sound of dragging metal, when I looked behind me to see a wheel in the road. i quickly twigged what had happened,so put the car in reverse to collect the wheel, thus bending the rack it had come of under the car!!! Anyway, hauled the tyre in to the back of the car and merrily drove e the last couple of mins home, rack dragging on the floor behind me. Its booked in to the garage on fri, the man took it seriously until i told him about the rack bending when i reversed!!! An easy mistake I feel!!! seriously though, if this had happened on a busy road or motorway it could have caused a major accident.
