Squashed tomatoes and stew

Had a brill night last night for Mr. Fesk's birthday. Had a lovely meal at Plunketts with Rum and Disco, then met up with everyone else in the Golden Lion for open mic night, which actually wasn't bad. Then moved on for some stripping action in Toffs, only to find - for the second time in 3 weeks, that it was shutting as it was empty - come on people, we need to support Toffs - The gallery is not an option!!!!! So ended up in Nexus, for on of the rare times that i actually had a very good night in there. Then spent some time sat outside the Kings arms, eating a kebab and chatting, until all the wusses got too cold!!! :)
Really shouldn't drink wine though - was absolutely hammered, didn't even remember eating the kebab till half way through this morning. That is the one regret of the evening, as I really didn't need it, and i lost another pound and a half at ww last night, so that kebab was evil incarnate.
last night also proved that i can still hack drinking on a school night - hurrah. Unlike my wussy brother, :)

Busy busy

Its been a very busy week with not very much going on. It has been very placement and work dominated!!! Went to the tramps inn on thurs - Wetherspoons, and it was indeed full of hairy tramps, but they actually ended up paying us to drink their very cheap drinks, so no complaints here. Also met up with Nick's friends and their little boy and went to plunketts for a meal. Somewhat spoilt by my unexpected lack of sleep - again due to work, but a very nice time to say the least.
placement is going well, that is about all I can say at this point. Office environment is very different form the last one - very quiet.
Busy week ahead, culminating in seeing Robbie on Friday at Milton Keynes then a weekend in the big smoke with Rach - lovely!

RIP Norris

It was the guineapigs fourth birthday last week, and ,sadly, Norris's last one :( We spent the day watching over him in the lounge yesterday and sadly he went to the big carrot field in the sky last night. I am very sad - also feel very sad for Percy who is now a very lonely pig and who it looks like, will be becoming a house pig from now on.
So generally bit of a naff day as feeling sad, and feeling a bit stressed about tomorrow - start my new placement, which it is important I enjoy as I will be there for the next 8 months.
On that note must crack on as have my school bag to pack :)

I love camping I do!!!

Well, we're back, slightly soggy and knackered but it was well worth it. Conniston was lovely, and the camp site was just right. Had ourselves a nice little set up, very glad we took the Gazbo though, as the nights would have been very wet without it. Highlights were:
The bike ride / walk up the steep bits to the 'Cathedral', and then the free wheel back down.
Been duped in to getting up at 6.30 the first morning, but then having bacon butties with beans under the gazbo in the rain.
Opening my presents form Mr. Fesk by the lake at 7.30 in the morning in the sunshine.
One of the best birthday's ever - thanks a lot guys.
Tea and cake on my birthday after the boat ride.
Pissing in the open air after drinking too much alcohol to make it to the toilet block - strangely liberating.
The fact that it mainly rained - a lot! in the evening, and was quite pleasant in the day.
Biking back from the pub a bit pissed over fields in the pitch black with only 2 sets of bike lights between 6 of us!!!
The crusader.
A hot shower after wearing the same clothes for 36 hours and getting wet and dirty a lot - loved it!!!
Having to move all our things at 4am in the morning after there had been torrential rain for 8 hours that was just finally too much for Mr. Fesks tent - thank God for the mansion type tent that T & S had brought.
All in all had a fantastic time - hopefully next time - yes there will be one!! I will be a bit fitter and there will be more walking involved.
Photos to follow shortly.
