Who knew??!!

Its the last day of term tomorrow. I can't believe it, doesn't seem like 2 minutes since I was only thinking about going back to uni, and now here I am one year down the line. Its been a great year, have thoroughly enjoyed it, every minute, even the nerve racking bits of essays and exams. The only bit I wouldn't do again would be the shitty ICT.
Also, who knew that what i wanted to do at the end of it all would have changed so radically, the one thing I most definitely didn't want to do, is the thing I have loved, and can't wait to return to - Child protection. This course has turned my attitude to something's upside down, and I have learnt a lot of things along the way. That can only be good.
neighbor's still haven't put fence back up, sad bastards. Ah well, seems to be bothering them more than us.
Looks like camping trip in Aug / Sept is all set to go. Just need to decide a location now. Hope its sunny.

Wacky races

Had a lovely day yesterday at Harewood house. Not all the music was to my taste, but i was aware that The Who were excellent, and Mr. Fesk has a brill day. Only dissapointment was that the Superfurry animals and The Who were on at the same time, on diff stages.
Had a lovely picnic, although my ass was numb for sitting on the floor so long.
The day wasn't even marred by having to wait 3 hours to push out of the car park, sped along a bit of grass and managed to get out and home in an hour!!
Very tired today though after the exertions of the weekend. Early night tonight for me.

The Who??

Busy weekend, IOKO do on Friday - was very pleasant, lovely setting. Hen Night last night, Bunny ears all round, did i look like a hooker?Maybe.
Going to the O2 wireless festival at Harewood house this aft, should be good, not sure if its my taste in music though, and it better not rain. Going with an open mind as far as the bands are concerned - don't worry though Robbie, you're still my idol :)
Also, finally passed my computer exam!!!!!!!!! Truly excelled myself - got one more point than last time, the bare minimum for a pass, but who cares, its done. I have moved on.

Hip Hip Hurray

Passed my law exam - and passed it reasonably well, so am happy
Going to visit my new placement in the morning, so fingers crossed.
Longest day to day, the plan is to go to the millennium bridge and watch the sunset at 9.43. it windy though, and also can barely see the sun :(
Study day tomorrow, and this time I will have to make a bit of an effort to actually get my arse down to the uni library.
Went to see Hard Candy at the flicks last night (yes, my devotion to the football has not increased), and not only would I highly recommend the film (psychological thriller) but we were the only two people watching it - our own private cinema viewing, thanks I suspect to the England - Sweden game. It was great, although a little bit freaky.

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a foxglove??

Had a lovely day yesterday, had some of friends round for some snags on the barbi ;)
Food was good, and then we were very civilised and played games. Nice surprise having R home for the weekend too. Was our first proper adult BB in that there was a baby there!!! Yes we are officially growing up!! LOL. She was really good bless her, as was the lovely Morgan.
Neighbours fence is still down :o. They really are childish, we park in what they perceive to be 'their' piece of road, so they take down a fence panel. Also, the only time they ever cut their grass is on a Sunday morning when we have had friends round, evidently to piss us off. This morning they pulled out all the stops and at precisely 8.22am they started hammering something against the wall, followed closely by some drilling, followed up by, you guessed it....the lawn mower. Oh well, at least i can find solace in the fact i do not have their life.
T and S have tracked down the all elusive Nordic mist, and we have introduced more people to the wonders of Stark, so all is right with the world.

Been a wee while

Thought I'd best update for all of you that have not been honoured with my company in the last week. Been a bit manic, but in a nice way. Had a good week, placement still going really well, although a ginger kid did wipe his face on my sleeve!!! Also found out where next placement will be - cyclotron with disabilities, so although thes is not what i originally wanted it does pull some things together, like the fact that i am loving my current placement, the disabilities and the care management, so almost sounds too good to be true - hope its not!!
Had a lovely evening round at S & V's on Friday, kelsey is so beautiful, and after cuddles and things went to bed, so best of both worlds really. Meant that S and Fesk could still be manly and make fire whilst rum and I watched Big Brother - Grace has to go!!!
Also had a good afternoon on sat - went round to friends to watch football - i sat in the garden for most of it as I was aware that I am not socially acceptable at such things as a) I am not interested, and b) I am aware that I talk a lot. Then mosied on down to the Knavesmire and sat chatting and enjoying the pleasant evening, how very mature.
Any hoo. That's about it really. Oh yeah, have got Robbie Williams tickets for September!!!! Hurrah!!!!
