Again, this boredom is of my own making, have stuff to do but cannot be bothered. Am only in for 2 days this week so hardly seems worth starting anything, also there is a works BBQ this evening, starting about 5 so really cannot be bothered to do any work, just wanna eat birds eye burgers and ketchup. There are also lots of fairy cakes around the building in tins, its very tempting. There is going to be a game of rounders after the food, so will make sure that I eat and go home, as there is no way I am running around in front of these people. Going to brum for a couple of days to say bye to T's mom. Even though its going to be very sad, I'm sure the day will be lovely.
Had a good weekend. Worked half of it, but was Ok as still had 2 days off with bank hols. Had a nice evening on sat, few drinks with friends, shocking service re food though, although will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a one off. Went on a 'date' with Mr. Fesk last night, as it is ages since we had a night out. Went to the White swan to watch a band, which turned out to be the 'surf sluts' so good thing the music wasn't going to be making the night!!! Then went to Dusk, and on for a curry - lovely. Interim placement report due on Friday, to say if I am passing or not, although had a meeting with practice teacher and tutor last week, and both think I am doing well, so is going OK.
Bit bored at work today so doing this on works comp. Have plenty to do, so should crack on really, but is nearly home time. Not much to say really. Still grossed out from the bugs in my wing wa noodles. Which has led to some pretty horrific bug stories today. Nice.
Another cracking Eurovision. Was quite glad the rock freaks won - kind takes the piss out of everything the contest tries to stand for! Had a cracking night with mates from uni, although BBQ did not happen - pissin weather, but evening went well, including score sheets!! Works been Ok, been kind of bored, but had a supervision today and have just been given my own case load, so this is good. Although a bit scary. Also went into my first dirty house today - came away smelling of chip fat!! Blerrghhhh, so one of the girls in reception hosed me down with what smelt like toilet cleaner, so not sue which was worse. Have also had a couple of dealing s with nits!!! Managed to steer clear so far though. Team that with the Chinese bugs we found in our noodles from wing wa's whilst cooking tea tonight and i feel decidedly a bit itchy the night. that's about it really. Much love to T x
I'm really bored, but not in that way when there is nothing to do , but because I have stuff to do that I can't be arsed to do!! My interim placement report is due, and also I have a presentation to do on the Children's Act 2004 in the team meeting tomorrow :$ Nothing much doing at the mo, looking forward to the eurovision at the weekend though. I really need to start feeling motivated and get this work done!!! I also need to stop scoffing go ahead fruit slices.
Well, think that the comp exam went ok, although did want to walkout in the middle as was losing my cool with it. Fingers crossed, think I did better than last time. Busy week placement wise, have been doing proper social worky stuff. Also have to do a presentation at next weeks team meeting :{ Had a cookathon Thursday night as the freezer got left open all night weds so it was no longer freezing things!! Oh well, won't have to cook much this week as is now all pre prepared. Had a girly night out last night, and drank a bit too much then spent 4 hours in the meat market that calls itself Kennedy's along with DJ Boon!! Music was actually quite good to be fair. Have a new pink Razr phone, great, although have only ever had Nokia's before so the usage is a bit dodge, if you get a weird text message it's probably from me, i have been relegated to looking like my dad when he is confronted by predictor text - confused!!! Oh my god, nearly forgot - in my surveillance of all things tacky whilst out and about on placement I saw a beaut the other day, a garden ornament the size of a man, sprayed bronze and in the shape of a cockerell!!! Class in a glass.
Have my computer exam resit this afternoon, so everyone please keep your fingers crossed as think the humiliation may be too much to bear if i fail a very basic comp test for the second time considering some of the geeky social circles in which i mix ;)
This comment and "Is anyone brave enough to expose themselves in front of such a large group" were the two high points of the lecture on my uni recall day on Friday. Have definaltey lived with Fesk too long as I snorted out loud at the number 2 comment, when very few others did - juvenile - i think so! Spent the afternoon I've been waiting for since joining the student posse - dossing in the grounds with a nice cool drink in the sun for 5 hours on Friday - lovely. About to approach the quagmire that is trying to sort out a new mobile and get the old provider off my back - oh well here goes.
Missed my Database test revision session yesterday die to placement, how dare people's lives go on when there are computers to be dealt with? (although apparently this is also refelected in the mjor difference in wages between a social worker and an IT bod). Bitter, me, no. IT is helping pay for me to do my degree, so shut up and put up is what i say. Anyhoo, really needed all the help i good get as the test is next week, adn this will be my second chance, so am going to spend some heavy duty computer time up at the uni some point today :( Mr. Fesk is in Londaon all week, again. So am looking forward to an evening of relaxation with my friends the soaps.
