fiddly dee

Its been a good weekend, civil ceremony was lovely, like all the nice bits of a wedding, but seemingly without the stress. Met some really lovely people, and drank far too much - for 14 hours. Luckily for me, the fact that I have had a cold all week means I had so many drugs in my system I didn't really get too drunk, and also didn't really have a hang over, so was Ok to drink some more the next day for Sam's birthday.
Wish my cold would bog off now - it would have been Ok if i could have relaxed into it and just layed on the sofa watching tat, but we have had a busy week.
Workbook due into tomorrow - have done most of it, but really can't be arsed to do the rest - one day i will not be working on an assignment the day before it has to be in - honest!

Exciting day tomorrow

J and F's big day tomorrow - its their civil ceremony, so i expect there will be a hangover on sat. Basically the day is going to be how most people would want their wedding to be, relaxed and with all the people you love there. Then a big piss up!!!
Have a new outfit, although both j and F are wearing jeans, so even that is nice, no need for big hat and stuff, just have a new outfit that I will be able to wear again.
Anyway, hope it all goes well for them - and hope My head doesn't hurt too much. Also hope this stupid cold is much better by tomorrow and doesn't impinge upon me being able to taste the food and drink.

Ouch!!!

Well Nick and Dave had fun camping - not sure if my idea of fun is toilets that don't flush, no water and freezing temperatures, but hey, each to their own!!
Visiting my potential uni placement tomorrow - North Yorks social services, should be interesting, placement teacher sounds nice.
Had a cracking weekend, just like the old days (not that I'm adverse to the new ones ;)) but had a girlie night in toffs and danced the night away on sat. Unfortunately this resulted in most of Sunday being spent on the sofa watching shit on telly until we dragged ourselves to the pub about 3 for steak and chips and full fat coke.
Looking forward to the rest of this week, its one of my best friends Civil ceremony on fri, so should be an excellent day, and also a new experience, then going out sat for a friends birthday and to watch the rugby, not sure how much i will watch though - not really in to it, but i do like the drinking!!

Edinburgh

Having a bit of a lazy week really, have stuff to do, but no real pressure to get it done.
have just booked us cheapy tickets to go to Edinburgh in March for the day, have actually got my arse in gear and taken advantage of an offer in the paper for cheap train tickets. Have also booked for us to see a couple of shows at the theatre which are mega cheap for students, so am feeling proactive and thrifty!!
Had a lovely evening last night. Had fish and chips at the sea side. Don't really buy in to all the valentines malarky, but i do enjoy a nice evening together.
Can't really be arsed to go to my lecture this aft, I'm quite content bumbling around the house now.
Mr. Fesk and Dave are going camping this weekend!! I have declined as their idea of camping is not mine - there is no shower block!!! But I'm sure they will have a great time. Whilst they are ruffing it i will be enjoying the comforts of toffs me feels.

A lazy weekend

Have done bugger all this weekend, i only left the house to go to work on Sunday afternoon. Have had a day off today, (after finishing work at 9 this morning) and my plan was to completely finish my preparation for practice handbook - 3000 words, i have done a bit, but it is by no means finished. However have had quite a nice day - been to have lunch with rum and coke and her bump, getting very exciting, as not long now, and enjoyed having a good look at all baby paraphanalia, Stu you better hope that baby comes early or on time otherwise the house will be full!!!
Also, other exciting stuff in friends lives, one of my best friends is having her civil partnership a week on fri, which should be a cracking day. Won't let me throw confetti though.
Valentines tomorrow, what a load of commercialised crap - still going to the seaside for the evening though :)
Better go, as need to fix my ear muffs before biking to uni tomorrow, can't cope without them. Doing quite well at this fitness and proper eating malarky.

Essays and euro bears

Busy busy at the mo, got my essay handed in - not one of my finer pieces of work, but its in! Have a shadowing day tomorrow shadowing a social worker in CAFCASS, all the way in sunny Scarborough, should be quite interesting, sitting in on a couple of interviews.
Especially for Toni, I completely forgot to mention an Amsterdam experience, the Euro Bear, I came very close to purchasing you a porn mag entitled the same, however its target audience was eastern European gay men so wasn't quite sure how much you would appreciate it, but it was a topic close to both our hearts ;)
Anyway, been a bit snowed under with work at the mo, so not really got anything else to say, update soon.
