Inky pinky parlez vous

Only one more working day till the bank holiday weekend - can't wait. On a crappy medication course tomorrow, so that i can give out meds at the company i used to work for, but as I am now agency i have to be retrained - even though I have spent the last 7 years of my life training the people I am working alongside - what a waste of resources - apparently pen pushers rule the world, but hey ho.

A bus shelter celebration

Mr. Fesk and I will have been living together for a whole year on Sunday. And we still like each other. So this morning I got a fantastic surprise, a beautiful bouquet from interflora of pink roses and lily's, delivered. I have never had flowers actually delivered before, it made the whole day feel like it was my birthday or something.
Went to see baby Jamie this afternoon, he is so gorgeous now that you could just eat him up. We took him shopping tot he white rose centre - he needs to learn young that women are better company than men, and that shopping is very important.

Holidays are coming, holidays are coming

I have today booked our holiday. 2 weeks of really hot sun, fantastic beach and cheap cocktails!!! Only this time with extra leg room and air conditioning. Can't wait, best get on the sun beds to start on the tan (and to make sure I don't burn). hehehe, I'm gonna be brown (although wary not to tempt fate, but the chances of it not being hot on a Greek island in August are slim to none).

Where has the week gone

This week seems to have gone really quickly, it doesn't seem like 5 mins since i was in London having a lovely weekend. Week passed as usual really, although i have been like masterchef in he kitchen. Now we have decided to book our hols (2 weeks of beach - I can't wait) we've decide to get healthy, so I have been making an effort to cook properly.
Went out on Fri with Nicky, and of course ended up in Toffs, can't remember the last time I went out with her and it didn't!! Got absolutely smashed and therefore didn't get dresses till just before it was time to pick up our evenings entertainment......An 8 year old child.
Think that it freaked both of us out playing mummies and daddies for the evening (it paticularly freaked me out when I found myself carrying a small coat over my arm) but we had a nice evening. Went to jumbos for tea and noticed all the bad table manners that kids have these days..... (not Ocean i hasten to say) then we went to the fun fair at Clifton Moore (what a rip off, if you have more than one child it would be wise to pretend such places don't exist, then went to see Robots at the flicks (which was actually very good) and ate crap, whilst having to make sure she didn't eat too much crap so that she was sick as she was staying the night. She is currently down stairs watching sponge bob square pants, waiting for Nick (her best mate) to haul his ass out of bed and set up the x box or watch shrek 2 - the choice is his.....

innit

Had a cracking weekend in London. However I was startled at the beginning of the weekend to hear real live people (and not comedy characters) using the word 'innit' a lot on the tube.
unfortunately Mr. Fesk was working hard most of the weekend, but Rach and I got to have a nice girlie weekend. Spent Saturday shopping in Covent garden (bought shoes and make up) then met Mr. Fesk and his imaginary friend (who is very nice, and apparently real and not really called Veronica) and went for a meal. Then onto a 30th party, which was good but very 'London', I had to wait 10 mins for a pee whilst there where loud sniffing sounds made by the occupants of the engaged cubicles (i wanted to laugh when they came out and ask them if they knew that they where living in a cliche.
Spent Sunday recovering from a hangover, and then had a walk round Greenwich park and had tea and cake. Lovely. Then it was time to come home.
Apparently we had had such a good weekend and where so knackered that whilst listening to the news today i was shocked to discover that there had been a fire very close to our house to which both fire engines and ambulances had attended at around 1.30 this morning, and neither of us had heard a thing. Apparently chavs had set fire to a sofa IN a block of flats over the road from us. Don't get me wrong, I'm very proud that I have managed to buy my own home, but sometimes i really wish that it could have been somewhere less chavvy. But hey ho - the kitchen makes up for it.

If your happy and you know it.....

Have a headache. Possibly caused by the morning I had, which although good fun, was very noisy. 20 people with mild learning difficulties in a church hall singing along to a woman with an acoustic guitar, each with their own musical instrument. While the carers sang along in makaton.
Only one more day of work then off to London for the weekend :-) Staying with my friend, and meeting up with Mr. Fesk's imaginary friend for a meal on Saturday night. Wonder if he is having to pay someone to be her for the night so that his pretend friend secret doesn't get out??!!! Anyway, a nice meal and a few glasses of wine, and i probably won't care who he has dragged along, as long as they are actually female and he doesn't try to pass off a man in drag as his best mate ;-)

Silly bitch

I HATE having to work with silly know it alls, who really need to get a grip on reality. think I hate it now more than ever because i now know i don't have to. Also really hate it when people think they are excellant at something, but everyone around them knows they are not. Also take great umbridge at the young bint (who may fulfill the description above) raising her voice to me and causing me to have to walk away from her silliness.

Its a chavalanche

Have had an excellent weekend showing friends round York's finer points!!! Toni arrived Friday, and we went to Cafe Uno for a meal (we will not be going there again, their meals were fine but mine was nasty, and the service was crap), and then moved to Bar 38, the evening ended later than intended at Yates - quality chav spotting!
Spent sat at home and cooked courtesy of El Paso when the Grinch got here, and started drinking very early!!! Then 'did' Micklegate, perhaps lingering too long (4 rounds) in the triples for singles bar. Went to reflex, saw some girls manky bra in the sink, and then went to Ziggy's - our new favourite place!!! Then night topped off with curry from The rise of the Raj (lovely).
Yesterday, went into town, where Toni had a heart attack purchasing a ton of edible rope from the German market, which Si then had to take sight seeing round York with him. Drinks in The Yorkshire terrier and Evil Eye then on to Oscars for a fat bastard burger (no guacamole on my tit this time lovies!!!), then got touristy and did a ghost walk, cheesy mac cheese, but good fun. Had hoped to end the night meeting up with nicky to watch Chris's band but didn't stand a cat in hells chance getting into the Roman bath so went to the star.
And that was the weekend, Thanks for a brilliant time, it was excellent (but i always feel a bit down when they have gone home).
Also feeling like crap now, but hey ho, nothing a bit of day time TV won't solve.

looking forward to a cracking weekend

Hurray, the weekend is here, and Mr. Fesk is currently picking up Toni, then later we will be hitting the town for a moderate night out, in preparation for a gin drinking marathon tommorrow when the lovely grinch arrives. I feel that the end of the marathon will be Ziggys - a class night out that the brummie ones have yet to experience!!! Tonic water, diet coke, veggie sausages and fags have all been stocked up on in preperation.
